** The Role & What You Will Be Doing
** As a key member of the Global Communications and Corporate Brand team, the Director, Global Operations and Portfolio Communications will lead the development and execution of communications supporting the Global Quality Organization and Global Supply Organization. This individual will help the organization continue to champion a culture of quality at operations sites and deliver communications that inspire, connect, and reinforce the critical role these functions play in Viatris’ success.

This individual will also work across the Global R&D Organization and Global Commercial Organization on communications that elevate visibility of the company’s portfolio and ensure consistent, compelling narratives that reinforce Viatris’ science, innovation, and patient impact, while driving engagement internally and externally. This person reports to the Head of Global Commercial, R&D and Operations Communications.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
* ** Drive Strategic Operations and Portfolio Communications:
** Develop and execute communication strategies that promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and customer service across global operations. Develop and execute communication strategies that articulate the value of Viatris’ portfolio that spans generics, established brands and innovative brands.
* ** Develop Executive & Leader Communications:
** Support executive and senior leaders across Operations, Quality, R&D and Commercial with communications strategies to drive engagement, visibility and connection with colleagues. Equip leaders with tools and messaging to foster alignment and build awareness and understanding of Viatris’ strategy.
* ** Enhance Employee Engagement & Communication Effectiveness:
** Bring together key communicators across our Operations, R&D and Commercial network to drive employee engagement and promote knowledge and best practice sharing to enhance communications efforts.
* ** Lead Change & Organizational Communications:
** Provide strategic counsel and develop communications to support organizational announcements, restructuring activities, transformation initiatives, divestitures and integrations impacting Operations, Quality, Commercial and R&D.
* ** Prepare for and Manage Issues:
