Team Lead, Management

Apply for the (TTTeam Lead role at Fed Ex Logistics in Tonawanda, NY. This hybrid position offers some work-from-home flexibility while also requiring on-site presence in accordance with company policy.

Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 am–3:00 pm and Sunday 6:30 am–3:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Complete and assign work‑specific activities to team members, providing direction, guidance and training on task completion.
• Resolve complex work‑related issues, establishing strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ensure team members complete necessary assignments on time while maintaining outstanding internal and external customer service.
• Provide direction and guidance by answering questions about any specific work‑related issue.
• Resolve routine and complex day‑to‑day activity issues and provide training on new activities.
• Assign work activities based on team members’ skill levels.
• Perform a quality audit of completed activities, recording and tracking results; review errors and arrange necessary training.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports to meet quality measurement goals.
• Maintain and control the flow of work to and from other departments.
• Work with the manager to anticipate or identify problems with individual or team productivity, and recommend constructive workflow improvements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of business experience, including 2 years in a brokerage or customs brokerage environment.
• 1 year in a supervisory or support role with proven leadership skills.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to train and motivate team members to ensure optimum workflow productivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or related logistics roles.

Pay Transparency: $16.50 – $25.02 per hour. Compensation determined by experience and market level. Additional benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement and tuition reimbursement.
