Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Global Equity & Reward to lead clients through the full lifecycle of equity compensation—combining deep global tax expertise with strategic plan design and implementation.

Our team is truly global: core team in the US, UK, and Australia operating as a hub model, with partners in the UK, Spain, and Australia. Projects are staffed based on capability and client need, not geography. We have eliminated revenue silos to enable seamless cross‑border collaboration, and we leverage in‑country experts in 70+ jurisdictions for precise guidance.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead tax technical guidance on LTI awards (RSUs, stock options, performance shares, etc.) across grant, vest, exercise, sale, and dividend scenarios.
  • Advise on mobility taxation for LTI awards across borders, covering sourcing, double tax relief, treaty analysis, social security, and shadow payroll.
  • Design and review withholding, reporting, and year‑end processes to ensure compliance in all jurisdictions.
  • Manage election considerations globally, ensuring alignment with local and international requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of corporate tax and accounting implications (deductibility, recharges, transfer pricing, IFRS 2, ASC 718) to flag issues and advise when to involve specialists.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to design equity strategies that balance market competitiveness, cost, and compliance.
  • Lead plan architecture, including vehicle mix, eligibility, grant sizing, performance metrics, vesting, post‑vest/exercise holding, clawback, change‑in‑control, and leaver provisions.
  • Drive implementation: policy and SOPs, multi‑country rollouts, employee communications, education, and change management.
  • Help clients use equity administration platforms effectively, optimizing workflows and leveraging platform capabilities.
  • Leverage technology solutions, including Vialto Comp, to support accurate payroll withholding and reporting at stock transaction events.
  • Ensure payroll compliance for equity‑related withholding and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Oversee year‑end equity reporting, coordinating filings and documentation.
  • Establish governance, controls, and risk frameworks, including compliance calendars and periodic health checks.
  • Maintain country summaries, approval matrices, and auditable documentation.
  • Serve as engagement lead for a portfolio of multinational clients, owning scope, quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable guidance for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop tailored materials and recommendations for diverse audiences to ensure understanding and alignment.
  • Train, coach, and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and support for professional development.
  • Review work for quality, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
  • Support business development through solutioning, proposals, and thought leadership.
  • Support development of dashboards and metrics for participation, tax exposure, and mobility impacts.
  • Provide benchmarking and market…
