Overview
Company: NRG Adventure Park. Position Type:
Full-Time. Travel Requirement:
Extensive nationwide travel (up to 50-75%).
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of adventure park construction projects nationwide. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with design, safety, and quality standards, while serving as a key liaison between corporate leadership, contractors, and vendors including Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end construction projects for new adventure park locations across the U.S.
- Coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and local authorities to ensure timely project delivery
- Conduct frequent on-site visits and oversee daily construction activities during active builds
- Manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
- Communicate project updates clearly to internal leadership and external partners
- Serve as a bilingual point of contact (English/Mandarin) for vendors, suppliers, or ownership groups as needed
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and proactively address construction challenges
- Review drawings, permits, inspections, and close-out documentation
- Minimum 3-5 years of construction project management experience (commercial or entertainment venues preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken); written proficiency preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide extensively and work flexible hours
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel by air and ground frequently
- Ability to walk construction sites, climb stairs/ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs as needed
