• Lead the execution of the CTO s 3-year technical vision by aligning engineering and product strategy with clear priorities
• Drive the technical narrative and content for board materials, investor presentations, and keynotes
• Document decisions and processes in the Git Lab Handbook to enhance operational efficiency
• Lead the internal AI transformation and ensure engineering teams rigorously test AI capabilities
• Implement standardized R&D metric frameworks to track and improve engineering quality and efficiency

• 12+ years of experience in executive operations, with 3+ years as a direct partner to an executive managing a large R&D organization
• Proven track record of drafting materials for Board of Directors and leading strategic planning
• Experience leading company-wide technical programs that require cross-functional alignment
• Previous experience as a Director of Engineering or Principal TPM overseeing high-availability systems
• Expert-level implementation of DORA or SPACE frameworks to drive improvements in productivity

• Experience leading organizational change management with budgets exceeding $50M
• Exceptional ability to synthesize complex technical information into concise executive briefs
• Background in engineering, product management, or operations
