Position Summary
Merjent, Inc. (Merjent) has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Senior Project Manager and Business Development Lead with demonstrated success in the environmental permitting process. The successful candidate will join our existing consulting division and focus on our western expansion effort, which includes expanding Merjent's presence in the western U.S. Technical knowledge of federal, state, and local permitting regulations is required.
This is a remote work position; however, candidates must be based in the western US, with preference given to candidates located in Colorado and Arizona.

This is a remote work position; however, candidates must be based in the western US, with preference given to candidates located in Colorado and Arizona.
This is a full-time benefits eligible opportunity. The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $141,000 and $178,000 annually, dependent upon qualifications and experience. This position is also bonus eligible.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for projects in the western US, which may vary in size and complexity.
- Effectively manage project budget, schedule, and manage project risk through implementation of standard project management processes and tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and bring new opportunities to Merjent.
- Actively participate in the proposal process and development of western expansion efforts, including marketing and business development activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a natural resource/environmental field required.
