The Spirit Of The Position

The Transportation Supervisor helps oversee the operations of a location(s), under the direction of the Director of Operations to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee‑focused servant leadership culture, the Shuttle Transportation Manager supports the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and helps to meet the individual needs of operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).

Principal

Job Duties
  • Lead, direct, and develop team of shuttle drivers in Sacramento, California.
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train and direct the activities of on‑site shuttle drivers.
  • Identify high‑potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.
  • Ensure drivers follow proper routes and hit scheduled pick‑up times while staying on schedule.
  • Process payroll, ensuring sign‑off on hours in a timely manner; collaborate with the local payroll department; work with the Human Resources Manager to ensure wage‑and‑hour compliance.
  • Execute plans for opening newly assigned locations.
  • Financially manage assigned locations, ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements.
  • Oversee the transition of newly assigned locations from contract acceptance through opening, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop client relationships and business retention.
  • Organize and narrate parking management skills for Assistant Managers and Team Leaders.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all contractual requirements between LAZ Parking and its clients.
  • Assist the region with operations preparation for potential new locations, including rate surveys and ticket pulls.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that arise from the operation of assigned location(s).
  • Participate in labor contract management if applicable.
  • Communicate effectively with all required entities regarding operation emergencies.
  • Manage event operations within LAZ Parking.
  • Monitor, review, and analyze market rate structures.
  • Complete additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must have Class B license.
  • Must have medical endorsement.
  • Must have passenger endorsement.
  • Must have experience driving shuttles with air brakes.
Experience
  • Experience working and supervising a shuttle program with Class B drivers.
  • Experience with DOT compliance regarding CHP inspections.
  • Experience with the regular maintenance and 45‑day inspections of the shuttle program.
  • 1+ years in a management role.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with financial statements/accounting, P&L reports, and budgeting.
  • Schedule flexibility to meet operational needs, occasionally working outside regular hours.
  • Parking management experience is preferred but not required.
