PurposeThe Health & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing occupational health and safety programs and managing workers’ compensation across multiple Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) locations within the United States. This role ensures compliance with ISO 45001 standards, applicable federal and state regulations, and local occupational safety laws. The position requires hands‑on experience managing audits, driving corrective actions, and maintaining a strong safety culture across geographically dispersed sites.
This position is 100% work le this position will be working from home, this candidate must be located within the US and be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System across all U.S. BPO locations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state‑specific safety regulations, and applicable local occupational laws and regulations
- Manage and support internal and external audits, including certification audits, surveillance audits, and client‑driven assessments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for health and safety compliance across all sites
- Manage risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations; ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
- Develop, update, and enforce health and safety documents, policies, procedures, and emergency response plans
- Analyse safety metrics and trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with site leadership, HR, Facilities, and Operations to embed safety practices into daily operations
- Deliver safety training, awareness programs, and compliance education to employees and leadership
- Ensure timely resolution of compliance issues and escalations
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records required for audits and regulatory compliance
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and compliance in 50 states

- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or a related field (Preferred)
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or equivalent ISO 45001 experience (Preferred)
- Minimum 5–7 years of health and safety management experience, preferably within a BPO, corporate, or multi‑site environment
- Demonstrated experience leading and participating in audited environments, including successful ISO certification audits
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable state and local occupational safety laws
- Experience managing health and safety programs and workers’ compensation across multiple U.S. locations and states
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
