Lead Sustainment Project Manager - remote

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Sustainment Project Manager - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. The Sustainment Project Manager focuses on ensuring the continuity and stability of EHR capabilities after deployment.

You will work alongside various stakeholders, driving the planning and execution of sustainment activities within a remote environment, promoting effective long-term operations.

• Collaborate with VA and other key stakeholders to support EHRM-IO sustainment activities
• Research and collect information on legacy and planned sustainment activities
• Execute sustainment tasks in accordance with approved project plans and timelines
• Create, manage, and maintain sustainment documentation within designated environments
• Review task order deliverables submitted by EHR contractor(s) and provide feedback
• Provide analytical support, including running reports and tracking task progress
• Review, prioritize, and track incoming action requests through closure
• Maintain stewardship of sustainment action items and decision tracking
• Support reporting, documentation, and meeting facilitation
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and support mitigation planning

• 8+ years of professional work experience
• Experience managing IT-related projects or sustainment activities
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies
• Experience tracking schedules, performance metrics, and task progress
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Additional relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
