The salary range for this position is $ to $. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.

The Morris and Sussex Vicinage is seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Court Executive 2B (Family Division Manager). This position requires strong leadership, decision‑making, creative thinking and effective influencing and negotiating abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a capacity to collaborate with others to reach agreements and make sound impartial decisions. While working under the general direction of the Assignment Judge and Trial Court Administrator, the Family Division Manager will oversee and manage all family court operations.
The selected candidate, in conjunction with the Presiding Judge of the Family Division, will be responsible for formulating and developing divisional goals and objectives; directing and supervising the day‑to‑day operations of the Family Division including case flow management, statistical collection and analysis, and budget development and implementation; and will serve as a liaison to a number of committees and conferences.
Utilizing strong human resource management skills, the Family Division Manager will coach and mentor staff, monitor and assess training needs, conduct performance evaluations, recommend personnel actions and perform other related duties as required.
This position is based in the Morris County Courthouse (Morristown, New Jersey). Travel to the Sussex County Judicial Center (Newton, New Jersey) and other Judiciary locations is required.
REMOTE WORKThe Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
