Senior Project Manager

Mission Energy is a trusted advisor helping our clients advance their missions through the design, development, financing, and construction management of turnkey clean energy, storage, and efficiency projects. We work to empower any organization, primarily nonprofits, to implement and benefit from clean energy projects. Our rooftop, ground mount, carport, and BESS projects across the US range in size from 250kW – 5MW, typically 500-1,500kW.

We develop, finance, and own most of the projects we build.

Our Project Management team oversees the implementation of our projects by working with partners, investors, clients, and subcontractors to create and install high-quality, on-time, on-budget projects for all our stakeholders.

The Senior Project Manager will own each project assigned – schedule, scope, and budget – from contract signing to final completion. In addition to project management, the role requires solar engineering, design, and construction management expertise (Distributed Generation), transparent and frequent communication, a high level of organization, schedule management, experience managing development-to-construction budgets, and contract negotiations. Success in this role is largely defined by advancing projects through development and construction on time and on budget.

• At least five years’ experience project managing distributed generation solar projects
• Experience with battery storage projects
• PMP or similar certification
• Experience developing and managing line-item project budgets and schedules
• Electrical engineering experience preferred
• NABCEP Certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience using Microsoft 365 – Word, Excel, Power Point
• Can communicate effectively and are skilled at identifying solutions to complex development and construction timelines
• AI user and willing to embrace AI tools
