What the day will look likeIn this pivotal leadership role, you will manage and develop the Privacy & Information Trust Practice team, responsible for delivering high‑quality privacy and information security support including data subject access requests, incidents, privacy contracting, impact assessments, queries and global initiatives. You will work closely with the Chief Privacy & Data Trust Officer and the Global Privacy & Data Trust Operations Director, collaborating across global teams to continuously enhance service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Practice Group Leadership:
The manager oversees the Privacy & Data Trust Practice Group, providing legal guidance, leading capability development and designing a colleague development planment, mentoring team members, identifying capability gaps and fostering continuous improvement in privacy and data trust expertise - Legal Advice Optimization:
Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality, efficient privacy legal advice, building strong relationships with business and compliance teams by providing insights on subject access rights, incidents, trends and volumes; streamlining processes, monitoring effectiveness and driving continuous improvement and sharing best practices across global teams;
Maintaining a centralized repository of privacy and data protection process flows - Global Collaboration and
Qualifications:
The role involves partnering with global privacy leaders to manage risks and improve service delivery, requiring a law degree, privacy expertise, leadership skills, and experience in privacy matters such as data subject rights and impact assessments.
This is a unique chance to lead a growing privacy and data trust capability center within a global organization where privacy is a strategic priority. You will build how Aon delivers privacy support across regions, influencing processes and worldwide programs and collaborate directly with senior leaders on complex and high‑impact matters.
Skills and experience that will lead to success- Law degree and strong expertise in privacy and data protection
- Prior experience in a professional support role (in-house or private practice) or leading a capability center team; strong understanding of privacy data subject access rights, contracting, incidents, impact assessments
- Experience working with global leaders on key risk areas and optimizing legal service delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Process improvement skills, ability to analyse complex legal issues and provide practical solutions
- Coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer abilities.
