The Sr. AGM, Asundexian is responsible for delivering top-line targets while effectively leading and managing a dynamic cross-functional, customer-facing team within their business unit. You will manage a cost base consisting of personnel and flexible spending and will make necessary trade-offs to maximize impact.
You have a deep understanding of the needs of healthcare practitioners and health care systems within the stroke prevention space; ultimately driving customer- and patient-centric outcomes while ensuring performance goals are met. This role requires extensive collaboration with HQ and other stakeholders to drive performance outcomes.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities of this role, Sr. AGM, Asundexian, are to:
- Accountable for achieving revenue goals for the area. Execute comprehensive strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share in the region. Work within the financial framework provided by the organization. Identify unique roles, structures, and alignment. Resource the team appropriately based on geographic/market needs.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team in the business unit, including sales representatives, institutional sales specialists, key account managers, and other specialized roles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Market Access, and Medical. Set the vision and translate strategy into operational goals. Communicate clearly so all team members understand success metrics. Regularly assess and determine team size and composition based on market needs.
- Identify, retain, and attract high-performing talent. Build and lead high-performing sales teams with coaching and talent development. Foster a One Team culture with shared accountability and strong performance.
- Gain and apply deep understanding of markets, business models, strategic priorities, and financial drivers. Engage with health care issues, customer trends, care pathways, and quality trends and best practices.
- Define local area strategy and priorities in collaboration with cross-functional and HQ teams. Manage a portfolio of brands, allocate resources to maximize impact, and set, execute, and measure market-based objectives for the unit.
- Direct local P&L by monitoring monthly financials, optimize budget utilization, and deploy resources to drive sales growth and ROI.
- Develop long-term relationships with influential customers to address opportunities and advance brand adoption. Communicate value propositions through proposals and presentations.
- Maintain timely communications with direct reports, matrix partners, management, and stakeholders.
- Lead a health system-focused sales organization engaging IDNs, ACOs, and large health systems in CKD, heart failure, stroke prevention, and anti-coagulation management. Build multi-level relationships and collaborate with Regional and National Account Directors to align strategy and objectives.
- Build strategic partnerships with C-suite and D-suite leaders to shape enterprise adoption and formulary access.
- Enable and influence patient access and reimbursement strategies for the portfolio.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, and accountability; broad understanding of the business with financial acumen and ability to leverage large data sets.
- Significant experience in Stroke, Anti-Coagulation, and Cardiovascular therapeutic areas.
