. As we continue our strategic expansion, we are launching a Baltimore market and seeking a Director of Sales Operations to lead it.
This role offers
full market ownership
, meaningful leadership responsibility, and the backing of a proven national platform. The Director of Sales Operations will play a critical role in building regional presence, scaling revenue, and developing a high-performing sales team.
You will be responsible for opening and leading a new market
, setting the commercial strategy, and building a team of Account Executives who execute at a high level. This position is ideal for an experienced energy professional ready to step into broader leadership with long-term growth potential.
- Lead the launch and growth of Inertia’s Philadelphia market
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives
- Drive new business development and oversee key client relationships
- Establish sales processes, performance expectations, and operating rhythm
- Own regional forecasting, revenue targets, and execution
- Partner with executive leadership on expansion strategy
- 5+ years of experience in the energy industry
- Proven success as an energy broker
- Prior sales or people leadership experience
- Track record of growing revenue and developing talent
- Strong business judgment, accountability, and ownership mindset
- Base salary: $75,000–$125,000
