We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our distribution center. This role is responsible for managing inventory, shipping and receiving, warehouse staff, and operational execution on the warehouse floor. The Warehouse Manager will partner closely with senior leadership to implement process improvements, ensure food safety compliance, and drive efficiency across all warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and inventory control procedures
Ensure proper product rotation, expiration tracking, and adherence to food safety standards
Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies
Assign daily work, monitor performance, and enforce productivity and safety standards
Conduct performance feedback and support employee development
Ensure warehouse cleanliness and compliance with FDA, OSHA, and food safety regulations
Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety inspections
Partner with leadership to implement new systems, workflows, and operational initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness
Act as the primary point of contact between warehouse operations and leadership
Collaborate with supply chain, purchasing, sales, and operations teams
Prepare reports and operational updates for management as needed
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of warehouse or distribution center management experience
Proven experience managing warehouse teams and floor operations
Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse best practices
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Experience in food, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred
Ability to travel up to 25%, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments.
