Base pay range

$71,100.00/yr - $97,800.00/yr

The Financial Reporting Professional 2 ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies. Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions and consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts in a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 2+ years of Finance work experience with demonstrated experience flux/variance analysis and financial reporting
• Excel proficiency, as defined by the ability to alter macros, create and use pivot tables, formulas and VLOOKUPs
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Demonstrated strong communication style and skills to present to various audiences internal and external

• Power BI, Share Point
• Live within the EST or CST time zone
• SQL (writing queries, extract data into Excel, etc)
• GAAP knowledge
• Healthcare industry experience

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi‑weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance. The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full‑time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job‑related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
