Senior Project Manager – Division 8 (DFH)
Location: Remote (Preference for CST, MST, or PST — West of the Mississippi)
Compensation: $110,000+ (commensurate with experience)

A well-established commercial construction firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in Division 8 (Doors, Frames, & Hardware) to support and scale its growing operations. This is a long-term, fully remote role focused on leadership, execution, and mentorship within a structured, well-supported team environment.

While the position is remote, there is a strong preference for candidates located west of the Mississippi River
, operating within Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones
, to ensure alignment with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.

This role is ideal for a seasoned PM who excels in full ownership of projects after award and thrives in an execution-focused environment with strong internal support.

• Manage a portfolio exceeding $6M+ in annual project volume

• Oversee projects from handoff through closeout, including:

  • Scheduling and coordination

  • Budget oversight and cost control

  • Client and GC communication

  • Change orders, billing, and closeout documentation

• Collaborate closely with internal teams while maintaining accountability for project execution

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and support staff

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification

• Projects are sold by dedicated sales staff

• Detailing is handled by others

• Administrative and operational support is provided

• PM role is focused on execution, leadership, and results —
  not chasing work

• Protech is the company’s preferred project management software for Division 8 operations

• Experience using Protech is strongly preferred; candidates with exposure to comparable DFH platforms and the ability to ramp quickly will also be considered

• 7+ years of Project Management experience within Division 8 (DFH)

• Proven ability to manage large, complex commercial projects

• Experience handling multi-million-dollar annual workloads

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment

• Availability during CST / MST / PST business hours preferred
