VP, Business Services Domain (Microsoft D365 ERP and CRM)
The Vice President, Business Services Domain is an executive role responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Business Services Domain (BSD) talent pool within the Hitachi Solutions Americas regional business unit. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Americas Delivery Domain, and oversees multiple Domain Directors, each managing a specialized pool of consultants aligned to a specific Delivery Domain – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), and Microsoft Dynamics D365 custom application solutions.
The VP drives organizational excellence in people management, workforce planning, delivery capability development, and performance across the BSD talent pool. They ensure teams deliver high‑quality outcomes for clients while fostering an inclusive, growth‑oriented culture and supporting the overall vision for the Americas Delivery Domain.
Strategic ImperativeLead the BSD to achieve strategic objectives, including workforce planning, performance excellence, and culture-building, while aligning with Hitachi Solutions’ core values and DEI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Empower Domain Directors to coach, mentor, and develop employees through career development planning, performance management, and career path design.
- Ensure role clarity and best practices within domain specialty areas.
- Instill customer focus across the domain by coaching and providing feedback through the Domain Directors.
- Partner with Human Resources to implement effective hiring practices and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Coordinate with the Americas Resourcing Group to support centralized staffing.
- Establish metrics for employee management, skill development, utilization, capacity, and certifications for Domain Directors.
- Champion Hitachi Core Values and DEI initiatives to sustain growth.
- Collaborate with GDC Managers on project assignments and staffing.
- Oversee the mid‑year and annual performance management process.
- Implement performance feedback processes, including recognition, rewards, and corrective action.
- Report on team performance metrics, including utilization.
- Drive monthly Rhythm of the Business reporting for BSD.
- Lead strategic initiatives supporting domain goals.
- 10+ years of experience managing teams, with proven success leading multiple people managers.
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and career development skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with HR and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to define roles and implement best practices within domain specialties.
- Customer‑focused mindset with coaching to embed this focus.
- Analytical and organizational skills for setting and monitoring metrics.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving, partnering with GDC and resource managers.
- Experience with performance management – constructive feedback, recognition, corrective actions.
- Ability to analyze and report on utilization and other performance metrics.

Base Salary Pay Range*: USD/CAD $205k – USD/CAD $275k

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
