The Associate Account Director / Account Director, Influencer Marketing position is a remote, work‑from‑home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work / life paradigm). Some travel is required for client meetings or other internal meetings, conferences, etc.
RoleAs the partner‑marketing landscape continues to evolve, various channels and tactics are coming together in exciting ways, and Acceleration Partners is leading the charge. We are seeking an experienced senior‑level digital marketing professional with leadership experience(s) to autonomously manage cross‑regional teams for our influencer marketing practice, serving as a high‑level client‑facing liaison, often acting as a point of escalation for the AP and client teams.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in developing and managing successful, KPI‑driven influencer marketing campaigns for consumer products and / or services companies. They will have working knowledge of the overall partner‑marketing landscape, including affiliate, and the ability to both direct comprehensive strategy as well as capably lead, manage, and hold teams accountable.
This person will be responsible for ensuring a high level of client service is being delivered to drive client happiness, retention, and growth KPIs. At the same time, they will focus on team happiness, coaching and developing direct reports on client service and communication best practices, team retention, staffing and resourcing. Another key focus will be monitoring for wider trends and ensuring synergies and alignment, constantly looking for areas to improve processes and establish best practices.

Job Responsibilities
- Portfolio Growth (Strategy, Execution, Performance & Expansion) – Provides high‑level strategic guidance and partnership to teams to ensure program goals are met and risk areas are mitigated proactively. Works with the team to innovate new strategy, tactics and efficiencies so client objectives are met and ensures client success. Assists team in identifying opportunities for scope of work expansions, leverages curiosity and effective questioning, and develops expansion proposals with pitching to client stakeholders.
Focuses on achieving YoY growth KPIs. - Lead, Manage, and Hold Your Team Accountable – Oversees account teams, manages and leads team members, and supervises high‑level account activities. Assists in hiring and develops teams through mentoring, coaching, identifying training needs, and providing timely feedback. Tracks team happiness and retention metrics, works with key stakeholders on resolution plans, and considers regional nuances when navigating people issues.
- Superior Client Service (Communication, Satisfaction, and Retention) – Builds strong relationships with client contacts, including C‑level contacts (CEO, CMO, VP of Marketing, etc.). Acts as a point of contact, managing 95% of client escalations, and ensures trust in our team by overseeing client outputs and communications. Aims for a net promoter score of 8+.
