OverviewThe Clinical Business Operations Manager will be responsible for the operational and financial management, data analytics, and business planning for the assigned areas. The role oversees and maintains applicable business reports to ensure optimal operations. It partners with key stakeholders to support expense and capital budget preparation and implementation; patient charge capture and review; and related business functions. The manager leads change‑management initiatives to address business process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and facilitate data‑driven decision making.
Responsibilities also include supporting budgeting activities, monthly financial operating reviews, and labor requisition processes to ensure efficient financial and workforce management.

Immunization requirements:
The seasonal influenza vaccine is a condition of employment for all employees in our organization. New employees must be willing to be vaccinated if found non‑immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) and/or without evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005. If selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination.
If you have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
- Provide operational and financial management of business operations.
- Direct the management, development, and integration of data analytics and business intelligence necessary for operational effectiveness.
- Support budgeting processes, including development and monitoring of operating and capital budgets.
- Conduct and prepare monthly financial operating reviews.
- Oversee labor requisition processes to ensure alignment with operational needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of experience, including leadership/management experience and knowledge of clinical operations, data analytics, and reporting.
- Master’s Degree (MSN, MBA, MHA, or PhD) and 5‑7 years of experience, including leadership/management experience and knowledge of clinical operations, data analytics, and reporting.

Starting PayOur pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this position begins at $43.65/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from HomeThis position is not eligible to work remotely; the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
