This position oversees and directs the operations management and strategic growth and direction of multiple employer worksite wellness programs. This position directs and develops high performing field team members to deliver on client goals and objectives while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
This is a Full Time, work from home Director of Client Operations role.
What You'll Do- Serve as main client contact on strategic integration and expansion opportunities, maintaining focus on client satisfaction and value‑added strategies while proactively identifying client needs related to healthcare trends.
- Identify processes to improve overall performance of health centers and define innovative performance measurements to integrate corporate strategies.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and knowledge of staffing, capacity, ROI, budget, margins, service and product offerings to implement and drive strategic operational outcomes.
- Strategically identify and solve complex problems with an emphasis on proactive approaches utilizing internal (corporate and regional) support.
- Request participation from corporate departments in strategic meetings as client needs dictate.
- Own client/site meetings, committees, and task forces to support strategic initiatives and goals.
- Operational lead on implementations post go‑live.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication across virtual sites, navigating multilayer client relationships (vendors, consultants, etc.).
- Effectively manage complex multiple lines of service and clients.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring at the site level.
- Build talent to proactively manage additional LOS.
- Participate in sales process.
- Act as escalation point for clients.
- Consult with Medical, Legal or Compliance departments regarding regulations, practice acts, practice law, and certification requirements.
- Complete ad hoc projects as requested.
- Manage site level supervisors.
- Oversee the management of up to 15 health centers with multiple lines of service.
- Manage relationships with up to 10 clients.
- Manage a portfolio of $2M–$10M in Gross Annual Revenue.
- Manage (direct and indirect) up to 10–50 FTEs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years’ experience in a business environment or related industry, managing others.
- Experience managing virtual teams.
- Healthcare experience managing in a medical, pharmacy, or similar environment preferred.
- Experience in an Operations function desired.
- Prior budget and P&L responsibility desired.
- Demonstrated experience with medical information management systems.
- Demonstrated process or efficiency management.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills required.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required.
- Excellent demonstrated follow‑up skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to interact at all levels of the organization (both internal and external).
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage change.
- Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, Medicare and/or clinical standards of practice preferred.
