We are looking to hire an Operations Manager to join our Construction Health & Safety Division in managing numerous occupational health clinics on construction sites in the Mountain, West and Pacific regions. This is a full‑time position, working Monday – Friday remotely from a home office with travel, and some evening and weekend hours as needed. Candidates must reside in Nevada, Utah, Arizona or Colorado.

The pay range for this position is $83,000 – $89,000 annually based on relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage local and corporate client relationships, including:
    • Developing professional and personal relationships that engender trust and respect
    • Promoting Medcor, Inc.’s ethics and values
    • Understanding the organizational environment of the clinics
  • Provide staff management and leadership at clinic sites, including:
    • Supervision of staff with responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivation, wage and salary administration, documented feedback, performance appraisal, goal development, and procedural development to achieve goals
    • Assisting with problem solving at sites and effective use of electronic medical records by staff
  • Oversee budget management at assigned clinics, including:
    • Maximizing revenue generation and controlling expenses
    • Maximizing cash flow and volume, and managing the site budget setting process
    • Monitoring performance and taking action to ensure financial targets and objectives are met
    • Ensuring accurate monthly financial billing and contract rate compliance
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are in place and utilized in clinics while driving growth in clinic volumes and services
  • Develop relationships with client executives, supervising physicians, and other local healthcare providers as needed
  • Collaborate closely with Medcor corporate office to share information, improve quality of clinic services, and solve field problems
  • Coordinate site activities, including:
  • Training needs and local client relations
  • Computer requirements and IT coordination
  • Staffing needs with Medcor HR
  • Accounting procedures with Medcor Accounting
  • Ensuring medical and office supplies are available
  • Providing training through Medcor Training Department and other staff development initiatives
  • Institute and participate in regular staff meetings and operations management team meetings
  • Work effectively and relate well with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
  • Qualifications
    • 2–4 years of practical experience in a healthcare environment or employee health services with management/supervisory experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
    • Working knowledge of workers’ compensation and occupational health and wellness
    • Ability to understand, question, and speak to variances associated with budgets and monthly financials
    • Availability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to client sites and clinics
    • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with associates and client management
    • Effective day‑to‑day operational management skills, ability to redesign workflow and foster buy‑in for change
    • Solid personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
    • Strong ethics and unwavering integrity
    • Licensed EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or RN

    • Previous hands‑on medical experience on construction sites
