Position: Facilities Supervisor- Remote w/travel

As a CBRE Facilities Supervisor, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for supporting senior technical and business leaders through strong operational oversight, streamlined processes, and proactive facilities management. This role blends hands‑on technical knowledge with strategic leadership, ensuring preventive maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement across key building systems—including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

You’ll serve as a trusted liaison between clients, technicians, and leadership, driving efficiency, resolving priorities, and guiding your team to deliver innovative solutions that reflect CBRE’s RISE values.

This position offers the flexibility of working from your home office, with regular travel to regional client sites to oversee facilities staff, ensure quality service delivery, and manage day-to‑day and strategic maintenance operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as a liaison between technical business leaders, facilities managers, and other internal and external clients to forecast workload demand and project work.
  • Perform hands‑on mentoring on facilities systems – HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day‑to‑day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Work with business leaders to resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Coordinate and supervise the team's daily activities.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job subject area and in‑depth knowledge of other job fields within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in‑depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that align with CBRE RISE values.
  • Anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi‑discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 5–8 years of job‑related experience. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and experience managing work orders in a CMMS.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive attitude.
