POSITION SUMMARY

This Supply Chain leadership position leads Distribution Center activities for (East or West) ADT Distribution sites.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct employee oversight for up to 30 direct labor employees.
Conduct coaching sessions as needed and award merits on a yearly basis.
Manages department to achieve DC metrics including, but not limited to maintaining specific labor costs, quality goals and on time shipments.
Responsible for shipping 1-2M order lines and $150-$300M in cost of goods sold each year. Shipments are a mix of direct to consumer and to internal customers(branches/technicians).
Directly or indirectly manages a total of $40-$90M of inventory throughout the year,
Monitors performance of direct labor associates and ensures required daily tasks are prioritized and executed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and 5S activities for operational excellence.
Maintain safety, security and cleanliness of the facility, adhering to all applicable safety standards.
Approves payroll bi-weekly for direct labor associates.
Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stake holders.
Additional duties as assigned

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Ability to manage up to 30 direct labor associates including 1-2 team leads.
Ability to motivate employees to meet/exceed required metrics all while fostering a teamwork-based environment.
Ability to effectively communicate(written/verbal) with all levels of employees including direct labor associates, peer management groups, and senior leadership team members both within and outside of Supply Chain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BA in Business Administration or BS in related field
5+ years warehouse and logistics experience with proven leadership skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to motivate employees to meet/exceed required metrics all while fostering a teamwork-based environment
Highly skilled in all Microsoft applications.
Highly skilled in Oracle Inventory, WMS and TMS applications. Oracle EBS or Cloud experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Stand 50 % of the day.
Standing, stooping, lifting, walking distribution center floor 30-40% of day.
Ability to lift boxes weighing 50 lbs. or less.

Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Ability to delegate tasks/responsibilities to direct employees as needed for optimal performance.

Environment Requirements:

This is not a work from home position and employee must report to Distribution Center locations for work each day.
