Overview Of

The Role

As an  AMC Horticulture Manager  (Annual Maintenance Contract), you are responsible for managing multiple corporate clients for their Plant Care Services. This will include hiring, training, leading, and developing a team of Plant Care Supervisors, Plant Care Staff, and other operations teams to run the landscape maintenance operations smoothly in the given geography. Major accountability will include top-quality interior landscape maintenance, meeting all service deliverables, and the highest level of client satisfaction.

Roles And Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Oversight:
Directly manage and supervise a team of 50-60 gardeners. Have a direct reporting line for 3-4 supervisors.
Plant Species Selection and Recommendations:
Identify and recommend suitable plant species based on local climate conditions, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic preferences.
Softscape Maintenance Oversight:
Actively engage in softscape maintenance, overseeing the nurturing and care of planted areas to ensure optimal growth and development.
On-Site Visits and Progress Monitoring:
Conduct frequent on-site visits & inspections to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Supervision and Management of Daily Operations:
Manage daily landscape maintenance operations of Supervisors and Plant Care Staff. Daily travel through the territory visiting clients, and assisting Supervisors, and Plant Care staff.
Nutrition and Fertilization

Schedule:

Guide Plant Care team for Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly plant nutrition/fertilization schedule. Provide special attention towards plant cleaning, pruning, watering, and plant rotation as required.
Coordination with Internal Stakeholders & Clients:
Maintain strong coordination with internal stakeholders like Nursery, Administration, Finance, and HR for smooth functioning of operations and billing. Achieve a high level of client satisfaction for Plant Maintenance Services.

Key Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters degree in Horticulture/Floriculture/Landscaping
Minimum of 3+ Years experience in Landscape Maintenance Services
Team handling experience is desirable
Good knowledge of Indoor Plants & its maintenance is a must
Proficient in hiring, training & mentoring Plant Care Supervisors & Staff
Proficient in using MS Excel/Word/Power Point
Good written as well as verbal communication skills

Work Timings

Our work schedule starts from 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM IST. This schedule applies from Monday to Saturday.
