As the Assistant Vice President, Inforce Administration, you will provide strategic and hands‑on leadership to our Policy Administration team, overseeing service delivery for both annuity and life product lines. You will lead operational excellence initiatives, strengthen service capabilities across distribution channels, and ensure high‑quality policyholder and agent experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Compliance, Product Development, Technology, Finance, and senior leadership to drive innovation, maintain regulatory excellence, and support sustainable business growth.

- Lead and develop a team of Policy Administration professionals, fostering engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all life and annuity policy administration operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive strategic initiatives including digital transformation, self‑service enhancements, and technology improvements that elevate the policyholder and agent experience.
- Partner with Compliance to manage service forms, regulatory updates, and new product implementation.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex policyholder and agent service matters.
- Monitor service standards, operational metrics, and reporting to support sound production, regulatory, and budget decisions.
- Lead talent development efforts including hiring, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Strengthen service models to support specialized and independent distribution channels.
- Ensure proper controls, reporting, and financial oversight, including authorization of policy fund disbursements within approval limits.

- Collaborate across departments to support product development, mobile technology enhancements, and website functionality.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Professional designations such as FLMI, ALMI, AAPA, or CLU are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in the life insurance and/or annuity industry, with emphasis in policy administration, contract processing, and agent services.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing professional and operational teams.
- Experience leading system implementations, digital initiatives, or administration platform conversions is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal insurance regulations and tax reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience developing managers and supervisors.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels and with external partners.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proven ability to lead change, improve processes, and implement scalable operational solutions.
- Experience with insurance administration systems, MS Office applications, and digital service platforms.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while balancing organizational, customer, and regulatory priorities.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
- Primarily office‑based work environment.
- Regularly required to sit, speak, hear, and use hands for fine manipulation.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, or reach.
- May occasionally lift or carry items up to 20 pounds.
- Infrequent travel (less than 5%).
