Big Blue Swim School (BBSS) is a fast-growing, mission-driven company that aims to show kids they can do anything by unlocking their full potential in the water. Big Blue has 55 open locations providing children’s swim lessons across the US, plus more than 250 additional franchise locations sold.

We are seeking a Field Support Manager, reporting to the President of Corporate Pools and serving as a member of the Specialist Support Team with a focus on business coaching and operational partnership for all corporate pool locations. This role is responsible for driving operational consistency, improving site-level performance, and supporting the execution of company initiatives across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance Coaching

Act as a business coach to site leaders to drive performance and operational excellence
Review key business metrics including enrollment, retention, staffing, labor, and capacity utilization
Identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities across locations
Partner with senior leadership to develop action plans to improve results
Provide ongoing coaching and structured follow-up on performance goals

Metrics & Operational Performance

Track and analyze key operational and financial metrics across all locations
Maintain reporting cadence and performance dashboards
Monitor progress against company goals and location-level targets
Identify top-performing locations and share best practices
Highlight underperformance and partner on improvement strategies

Operational Standards & Consistency

Ensure locations are operating in alignment with Big Blue Swim School standards and procedures
Conduct operational reviews and site audits (virtual and in-person)
Reinforce consistency in guest experience, staffing models, and program delivery
Identify operational gaps and partner with site leaders on corrective actions
Support adherence to safety, service, and facility standards
Initiative Implementation & Change Management
Support rollout of new initiatives, programs, and operational improvements
Partner with regional leadership to plan and execute implementation
Develop timelines, tracking tools, and success metrics for initiatives
Monitor adoption and effectiveness across locations
Provide follow-up coaching to ensure sustained execution
Share feedback and results with leadership

Qualifications

5+ years of multi-unit operations, field operations, or business coaching experience
Experience supporting multiple locations in a service-based environment preferred
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Ability to influence and coach leaders without direct authority
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations
Willingness and ability to travel to locations as needed, with expected travel of approximately twice per quarter.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000–$90,000. The final offer will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
