Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities- Management of assigned project portfolio, with total portfolio revenue expectations ranging from $5–$15 million.
- Supervise and direct project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start‑up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty of assigned projects.
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Coordination and management of resource assignments based on project requirements and technician skill set.
- Manage the development of project plans prior to project activity, assuring effective execution by the project team; prepare and update project schedule and cost estimates.
- Coordinate and provide direction for budget estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost, and construction functions as they relate to project completion; oversee and coordinate all equipment procurement and associated delivery cycles.
- Project administration (meeting coordination, construction schedules, transmittals, RFIs, change management, punch lists).
- Support Service Department as necessary with issues arising from recently deployed or turned‑over systems.
- 2–4 years of experience leading projects as a Project Manager with a strong foundational knowledge of project execution, initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent work experience or related curriculum.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel throughout New England (MA, NH, ME, RI and CT) as projects require.
- Reliable form of transportation and ability to work a hybrid schedule between remote/in‑home office and Norwell, MA branch office.
- Occasional travel to client and project locations to deliver goods/material as needed.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Project Management processes, procedures, methods, and techniques.
- Proficiency with CRM or ERP software, including resource scheduling tools and material management.
- Proficiency with computers and basic Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including mobile applications.
- Demonstrated persistence, tactfulness, and responsibility; ability to maintain confidentiality; make decisions based on judgment and verifiable criteria; communicate effectively; read and interpret reports; work with numbers.
- Self‑motivated and works well with others in a team environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven success working with all levels of management.
- Experience with customer retention and satisfaction.
- 2–4 years of construction management experience.
- Industry Project Management Certifications such as PMI CAPM, PMI PMP, Avixa CTS, or CSPM.
- Experience leading security, communications, audiovisual, and healthcare projects.
- OSHA 10 certification.
Starting at a low $90 k+, commensurate with experience.
