Program / Project Manager, Contracts Manager
We currently have an opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our Riyadh team. This role offers the opportunity to further establish your reputation by applying your specialised expertise across contract management, claims and dispute resolution to support the delivery of a major complex project.
This is an onsite role embedded within a contractor project team, providing commercial, contractual and claims management support across the full project lifecycle. Due to the nature of the project and client environment, prior Middle East project experience is essential.
We are seeking an experienced consultant-level professional with strong technical capability in contract management, claims and dispute resolution. You will bring well-developed industry knowledge and commercial acumen, with the ability to provide leading technical input, manage complex deliverables and support successful project outcomes.
Working closely with Project Managers, clients and project stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of project objectives while ensuring alignment with commercial, contractual and operational requirements. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and supporting the development of technical capability across the broader team.

Responsibilities- Deliver contract management, claims and dispute resolution services, including contract administration activities such as contract preparation and progress claim validation.
- Provide contract advice on time and cost management clauses and specifications, alongside commercial and contractual support.
- Review, interpret and analyse contractual entitlements, delays, variations and associated cost impacts, including assessment of delay mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
- Analyse the cost implications of delays and variations to support commercially sound recommendations and outcomes.
- Prepare high‑quality client deliverables, including reports, claims documentation and commercial assessments, ensuring accuracy, clarity and readiness for client review and questions.
- Conduct detailed analysis of complex data from multiple sources and present findings in clear, tailored formats to support project director input and decision‑making.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, using effective communication to drive collaboration and maintain high professional standards.
- Lead and support project teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes and key milestones.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, construction management or equivalent.
- 5+ years of post‑graduate experience.
- Proven Middle East project experience within construction, infrastructure or major projects environments.
- Experience working for a specialised claims or expert witness consulting business.
- Contractor‑side experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial management and claims processes.
- MRICS or MCIArb status.
- Proven experience in client‑facing roles.
- Knowledge of delay analysis techniques.
- Experience using industry‑related software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, CostX and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of competence in data management and analysis.
- Experience with using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills including report writing.
