Winter Park, FL (serves customers across greater Orlando, FL area)
- Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions, establishing comprehensive project schedules in coordination with the team while identifying crucial installation timelines
- Oversee procurement of supplies and materials required for project completion, and actively participate in project cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency
- Assist the Operations Manager in contracting subcontractors, coordinating activities to align with scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements while ensuring safety regulations
- Conduct orientations for project technicians, providing necessary documentation such as scope of work, technical drawings, project contacts, and application‑engineered diagrams
- Diligently track resources and progress, documenting events impacting schedule, scope, and efficiency; identify and pursue opportunities for project‑specific change orders
- Manage billing coordination with accounting team and Operations Manager, schedule commissioning resources, expedite return of mark‑ups for as‑built development, and ensure timely completion of project‑specific close‑out documentation
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or state‑recognized GED
- 1+ year(s) of on‑the‑job experience in Project Management within the HVAC controls industry
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams; prior exposure to industry‑standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; eligible to participate in company fleet vehicle program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
- 5+ years project management experience in the HVAC controls industry
Pay range: $68,830 – $117,994 annually with a target incentive of 10% of base salary. Actual wage may vary based on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
