Overview
Senior IT Project Manager ject Focus:
Large-scale Microsoft Teams video conferencing deployment across AEP’s footprint. Work streams include lifecycle upgrades, new construction, and remodels.
- Lead and coordinate rollout activities across multiple locations
- Manage tasks, timelines, and communications with internal teams and external vendors
- Track and present project data in executive-friendly formats
- Coordinate with electrical, network, construction, and facilities teams
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and procurement
- Apply project management frameworks (Scrum, Waterfall) to promote transparency and continuous improvement
- Scrum

- Required:
Bachelor’s degree or higher - 7+ years of project management experience
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple input streams and technical stakeholders
- Experience presenting complex technical topics in simple terms
- Preferred:
Experience with video conferencing deployments or corporate construction projects - Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Located within the AEP service footprint (TX, OH, OK, IN, MI, LA, VA, WV, KY)
- Willingness to convert to full-time (AEP does not sponsor visas)
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Expert Level
The pay range for this position is $56.00 - $64.00/hr.
