Group Vice President (National) - Commercial & Industrial Electrical - Remote (United States)
Gryphon Oakwood are currently representing a leading provider of commercial and industrial electrical construction services, delivering complex, large-scale projects across the United States. With a strong reputation for safety, quality, and operational excellence, the organisation partners with major clients nationwide.
We are seeking an experienced Group Vice President (VP) to lead multi-regional operations across the U.S., driving growth, performance, and the consistent delivery of high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader within the commercial and industrial electrical construction industry, with a strong track record of managing teams and delivering sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive leadership across multiple regional business units nationwide
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Oversee project execution to ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction standards are consistently met
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional leadership teams
- Collaborate with senior leadership on company-wide initiatives and long-term strategy
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and P&L oversight
- Identify opportunities for expansion, operational improvement, and innovation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience within commercial and industrial electrical construction or a closely related field
- Proven experience managing multi-state or national operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing full P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated success leading large, geographically dispersed teams
- Strategic mindset with strong decision‑making capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (preferred)
