Manager, Mobility, Defense and advanced Industrials

As a Manager at Kearney, you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of our Mobility, Defense and Advanced Industrials Practice (MDI) by offering honest advice and practical guidance to our clients. The MDI Practice supports organizations in the development, production, operations and sustainment of aerospace and defense platforms. Working alongside a dedicated and diverse set of people, you will collaborate with clients to define and implement strategies that deliver both short‑term results and long‑term competitiveness in an ever‑changing market environment.

• MBA degree preferred with 8+ years of professional experience.
• Experience working as a Management Consultant required.
• Experience managing proposal writing efforts; participating in pitches for consulting work; developing new business within existing accounts through client relationships.
• Passion for leading teams and mentoring colleagues.
• Managed at least one major workstream of the business design.
• Experience working in or alongside clients in Aerospace & Defense, Aviation, and functional expertise in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Active clearance is a plus.
• Located near or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C., or Toronto.
• English fluency.

Manager base salary: $212,000 – $235,000. However, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including education, experience, office location, knowledge and skills. Compensation is reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
