Mace is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and cost management functions on a landmark luxury mixed‑use development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing large teams of cost consultants, driving performance excellence, and ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle, while supporting sustainability and innovation initiatives.

- Direct preparation and execution of contract documentation, including warranties, bonds, and licenses.
- Lead and manage cost consultancy teams to deliver KPIs, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee cost control through accurate measurement, valuation, and transparent financial reporting.
- Manage preparation and client presentation of monthly post‑contract cost reports.
- Evaluate financial impacts of design changes, contract awards, and client‑driven variations.
- Resolve contractor and subcontractor claims efficiently, ensuring fair outcomes.
- Issue practical and final completion certificates in compliance with legal and quality standards.
- Implement innovative cost management tools and processes to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and net zero carbon goals through cost strategies and informed decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience with Tier 1 contractors or cost consultancy firms.
- Familiarity with the FIDIC suite of contracts is an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing large commercial teams.
- Strong understanding of contract law, claims, and cost control in major projects.
- Previous Middle East experience and eligibility to meet Saudi visa and client approval requirements.
