Our organization is dedicated to operational excellence, safety, accountability, and responsible asset stewardship. As we continue to experience growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fleet and Safety Manager to overseen and manage all aspects of our vehicle fleet as well as company-wide safety programs.

Role Description

The Fleet and Safety Manager will oversee the fleet's daily operations, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained and compliant with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include managing the complete lifecycle of fleet asset, from procurement and assignment to maintenance, compliance, monitoring and retirement.

This role also serves as the primary leader for job-site safety, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of safety across the organization, developing and implementing safety training programs, conducting safety inspections, and managing occupational health initiatives. The Manager will also investigate workplace incidents and ensure compliance with all applicable Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, allowing flexibility for some work-from-home days.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Proficiency in Safety Training and Industrial Safety
  • Experience in Accident Investigation procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and create actionable safety plans
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to fleet and safety management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with fleet management systems and tools is a plus
  • Proven experience managing a company vehicle fleet and/or safety, EH&S, or compliance programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, job-site safety practices, accident investigation, and EHASP development.
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance, inspections, registration, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with GPS, telematics, mileage tracking, and fleet management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce policies, lead incident response, and manage employee behavior professionally.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and risk-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including interaction with leadership, field teams, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive or disciplinary matters appropriately.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
