Position: Mortgage Branch Manager (Licensed Ac) (PulteMortgage)

Job Summary

Provides local Pulte Mortgage leadership, managing all aspects of divisional mortgage operations while effectively partnering with the home builder and fulfillment center to achieve targeted capture, service, and revenue goals.

Responsibilities
  • Train builder sales professionals on the benefits of Pulte Mortgage, selling the value of PMC, overcoming objections, and ensuring effective use of expanded customer inquiry tools.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop local PMC staff.
  • Capture every possible loan application for Pulte Mortgage at point of sale.
  • Actively participate with the builder in homebuyer and realtor events designed to generate community interest, such as grand openings.
  • Drive and achieve outstanding PMC buyer experience scores in coordination with local builder and PMC fulfillment teams.
  • Achieve outstanding “close on time” percentages on a daily basis in coordination with PMC fulfillment center and local Builder team.
  • Attend community and leadership meetings as a member of the division senior operating team.
  • Manage the integrity of the division’s PMC backlog and communicate status and risk with division sales and management teams.
  • Manage subdivision approvals.
  • Maintain branch profit motive and financial performance.
  • Attain required mortgage licenses.
  • Interact directly with customers in assigned communities.
Management Responsibilities
  • Ensure appropriate staffing to meet department needs.
  • Utilize recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent.
  • Delegate work according to employees’ abilities and skills.
  • Evaluate employee performance and plan compensation actions accordingly.
  • Provide developmental opportunities through internal and external training opportunities.
  • Create opportunities for employee growth.
  • Provide continuous coaching regarding functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors).
Education and Experience
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related mortgage experience.
Licensing and Certifications
  • Valid driver’s license required (essential function of this position).
Skills and Knowledge
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Additional Information

This is a hybrid position, combining both in-office and remote work, allowing for flexibility while maintaining collaboration and productivity.
