Summary

The Site Manager Clinical Engineering leads clinical engineering initiatives to provide superior customer service and operational efficiency by managing the execution of the TRIMEDX Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP). The role manages day‑to‑day operations, collaborates with customers, develops associates, and serves as a communication channel between hospital executives and TRIMEDX. The Site Manager also directs Joint Commission inspections and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership:
    • Apply knowledge of technology and equipment to oversee site operations and provide direction.
    • Motivate others through praise, recognition, and rewards.
    • Staff, schedule, coach, and mentor technicians and supervisors; provide performance feedback.
    • Influence change with recommendations and guide professionals based on credibility and technical knowledge.
    • Set clear direction, goals, and expectations; monitor performance and intervene when gaps occur.
    • Create a respectful, collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement.
  • Operations Management:
    • Manage service operations functions, including service contracts and resource allocation.
    • Document demand labor, parts, contracts, and in‑house resources.
    • Apply policies and sound judgment in day‑to‑day activities.
    • Resolve root causes of technological/process problems.
    • Maintain inventory of shop supplies and database stockroom for accuracy.
    • Develop service strategies and provide metrics to the Central Office.
    • Manage Joint Commission inspections, prioritize open work orders, and document performance assurance inspections.
    • Provide timely feedback on projects and other requests.
    • Administer MEMP to KPI measures and manage the work order approval process.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate metrics, and build corrective actions.
  • Account Management & Development:
    • Set local strategies and pursue opportunities for business entry.
    • Deliver quarterly value reviews and system‑level reports or meetings.
    • Build relationships across a diverse customer base and collaborate with customers and vendors.
    • Promote scope of service expansions and oversee multiple accounts.
  • General:
    • May manage one or multiple sites with revenue between $3M and $10M.
    • Responsible for P&L and financial targets.
    • May handle additional time‑and‑material sites in proximity to customers.
    • Travel may be required based on customer or business needs.
  • Time Horizon:
    • Weekly: 10%
    • Monthly: 50%
    • Quarterly: 30%
    • Annually: 10%
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in clinical engineering or equivalent with business acumen.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
  • Ability to manage day‑to‑day and long‑term site operations.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
  • Financial analysis and budgeting skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication.
  • Strategic thinking and relationship building across a diverse customer base.
  • Mentoring experience for supervisors and senior technicians.
  • Preferred: prior experience as Assistant CE Manager, Senior Technician, Supervisor, or similar program.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, or related field required.
  • Technical certification (e.g., A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, CCE) preferred.

  • Occasionally driving, using fine motor skills for equipment maintenance.
  • Occasionally on‑call and remote work.
