Sigma Technologies Functional Manager position requires prior experience with direct people management and the ability to lead, motivate, and influence associates. The role involves overseeing Design Supervisors and other subordinate staff in day-to-day performance.

This position can work remotely, but new hires will be required to attend a two-week, in-person paid orientation and training period at the company headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.

• Manage Design Supervisors and other subordinate staff in daily performance.
• Conduct performance management, including reviews, disciplinary actions, and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
• Take initiative and move quickly to address evolving needs.
• Adapt and pivot to steer the team based on project scope and emerging issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments and communicate effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree or higher is acceptable but not required. Management may consider other combinations of education as needed.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with engineering, operations, and/or project management in power utility design; minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience. Experience managing supervisors is required.
• Personal: Valid driver's license and insurance; willing to undergo background check, drug test, and driving record check; authorized to work in the United States; willing to travel overnight occasionally and be available during core hours 8 am to 5 pm ET with occasional evening/weekend work.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to use a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods; perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing notes, viewing a computer terminal; express or exchange ideas verbally and convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, often in a group setting.

Pay is commensurate with experience and education.
