We are looking for an Operations Manager who will oversee and direct the operations function within the boutique. They are the expert on all standard operating procedures, systems, and tools, and ensure the smooth running of operations to enable the ultimate client experience. They will work closely with the boutique leaders by imparting critical business knowledge.
Responsibilities- Own all operational functions within the Boutique, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, alterations, facilities management, security, resource planning/staffing, compliance, and expense management.
- Collaborate with the Home Office Retail Operations team to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and inspire operationally aligned staff to deliver flawlessly.
- Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
- Be the ultimate expert on all standard operating procedures, systems, and tools to act as a resource for the entire boutique team.
- Lead a team through various projects and take initiative.
- Manage a budget and forecast expenditures for the boutique.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively.
- Understanding of, and passion for, client experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Foreign language skills are preferred but not required.
- Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives.
- Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Boutique management: requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld, and deliver elevated client service to drive business results.
- Anticipated base salary range: $87,500 through $115,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation and may be supplemented by other components.
