Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operational activities and serve as the escalation point for vendors and internal teams
- Monitor individual work queues, assign tasks, and provide regular status updates
- Ensure the daily workload is managed efficiently to meet expectations and deliverables
- Drive process improvements to increase operational efficiency and accuracy
- Research and resolve issues that prevent invoices from being processed
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and ERP systems
- Manage a remote-based team and navigate challenges associated with virtual supervision
- Apply supervisory experience to lead and support team performance effectively
- Utilize systems such as SAP, Oracle, People Soft, or Lawson for AP operations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at all organizational levels
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable management
- Show strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities
