We are looking for a Trade Coordinator to support the wholesale department and provide exposure across all functions of the business. The role will support our Nordstrom stores a minimum of 4 days per week with training, visual merchandising, events, and ad‑hoc work from home for administrative tasks.
What you’ll do- Empower store teams to meet and exceed consumer sales targets.
- Proactively provide assortment, inventory, and business opportunity feedback.
- Participate in creating sales team incentives and engagement tools to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Lead on‑floor selling and set an example for store teams.
- Lead brand story, product knowledge, and engraving training via formal and on‑floor sessions.
- Instill brand visual merchandising standards across all locations.
- Manage Nordstrom DSAs and contingent workers (recruitment, onboarding, training, development).
- Plan and lead trunk shows throughout the region.
- Support ad‑hoc trunk shows and brand events across the US.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and organization across all events.
- Own shop‑in‑shop upkeep through proactive visits, providing clear briefs for repairs.
- Ensure MV fixtures and engraving equipment are in proper condition across all doors.
- Partner with US Operations and Account Management to deliver ad‑hoc trade operations projects.
- Liaise with Customer Care to support repair, special order, and packaging inquiries.
- Support Nordstrom bi‑annual inventory cycle as required.
- Become a brand ambassador for piercing and welding policies, procedures, and brand points of difference.
- Support launch of new piercing and welding locations via travel or administrative support.
- Coach and develop direct reports; manage performance, attendance, and incidents.
- Ensure team receives guidance on workflow, prioritisation, and wellbeing.
- Lead by example, showcasing MV behaviours, competencies, and values.
- Empower team to make decisions and incorporate learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with People & Culture for advice on complex or sensitive matters.
- Excellent communication: tailoring messages for audiences and driving two‑way communication.
- Proactive collaboration: building alignment across functions and encouraging open dialogue.
- Coaching and development: timely feedback and growth of team and direct reports.
- Workflow management: planning resources, adapting timelines, and setting clear expectations.
