Regional Director of Operations

This remote position is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Director of Operations to lead our workforce development projects, oversee strategic execution, and inspire performance within the Corporate Management Team.

• Oversee all operations, including successful implementation of workforce operations, company policies, procedures, quality assurance, and financial initiatives.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, ensuring financial, internal and external quality outcomes and customer relationships.
• Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets for each location, ensuring expenses comply with budget constraints and revenue meets or exceeds goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential funding sources, local and state legislators, and political leaders.
• Ensure compliance with client/funding source and regulatory requirements, company and corporate policies.
• Provide quality service consistent with applicable laws and corporate standards, and participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Supervise local Executive Directors and lead market growth in the assigned region.
• Approve bid/contract development and submission as necessary.
• Implement corporate initiatives and directives and adopt a “ZAG” mindset.
• Perform other duties and projects as needed.

• Minimum five years of experience managing systems, processes, and people.
• Experience in workforce development preferred.
• Five or more years of supervisory experience.
• Strategic development and executive‑level management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive and resourceful, maintaining confidentiality.
• Knowledge of local region and relevant partners (preferred).
• Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, maintain a high volume of work with speed and accuracy, work cooperatively, and show professionalism.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle personnel matters effectively and with diplomacy.
• Travel within the assigned region (up to 50% regional travel).
