About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results‑driven Senior Project Manager to lead and execute complex federal projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including a strong track record overseeing Design‑Build (DB) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) efforts. This role requires expert knowledge of federal regulations and compliance, exceptional leadership capabilities, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget—while ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety, and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
  • Project Leadership
    :
    Direct integrated DB/EPC project teams from pursuit through close‑out to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    :
    Coordinate with federal agencies, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to align deliverables and foster collaboration.
  • Budget & Resource Oversight
    :
    Develop and manage project budgets, forecast costs, and ensure effective resource allocation and utilization.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    :
    Ensure full adherence to federal contract requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS), proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Scheduling & Milestones
    :
    Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, track milestones to meet project deadlines and performance objectives.
  • Team Leadership
    :
    Lead individual projects while mentoring, supervising, and motivating cross‑functional project teams while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, quality, and safety.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    :
    Provide and maintain detailed and timely status reports and project documentation to clients and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision‑making.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience
    :
    Minimum of 10 years managing State, Municipal and Federal government projects, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in complex and regulated environments. Ensure that customer service, safety, quality, and efficiency are considered at every level of a project’s life cycle.
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A management and a construction‑based degree is preferred.
  • Certifications
    : PMP certification preferred; PMP, Six Sigma, OSHA 30 or other relevant certifications are a must.
  • Regulatory Knowledge
    :
    Deep familiarity with federal contracting procedures, compliance frameworks, and procurement standards (FAR, DFARS, 413, etc.).
  • Technical Proficiency
    :
    Advanced knowledge of project management tools such as Kahua, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills
    :
    Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Safety, quality, and a servant‑leadership team‑building mentality is a must.
