Overview of the Role
The Head of SMB Accounts will lead the strategic management of a $35–40M revenue portfolio spanning approximately 100–140 accounts and 300 active team members.
This critical role focuses on driving client retention, identifying high-potential accounts, and developing scalable engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing a team of Account Managers.
- Owning the overall health and performance of the SMB portfolio, ensuring high retention, client satisfaction, and margin protection.
- Identifying accounts with growth potential and developing tailored engagement strategies to unlock expansion opportunities.
- Designing, improving, and institutionalizing playbooks and operating models for SMB account management.
- Building a deep understanding of client organizations, technology roadmaps, and long-term needs to position the company as a strategic partner.
- Acting as the primary escalation point for client issues, ensuring rapid resolution and internal accountability.
- Account Management: 7+ years of experience in Account Management or Delivery.
- Industry
Experience:
7+ years in the tech/outsourcing sector. - Leadership:
Experience managing a team. - Travel:
Availability to travel up to 20% of the time.
