Position Overview
The National Kidney Registry (NKR) is seeking a Universal GPS/Strong Box Inventory Manager responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of critical platforms supporting kidney transplant logistics across the NKR network.
This role leads the coordination, optimization, and scalability of the NKR Universal Global Positioning System (GPS) fleet and the NKR Strong Box in direct support of living donor kidney transplants.
Serving as the primary point of contact for newly partnered Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs), this individual will drive adoption, compliance, and operational excellence across a rapidly expanding deceased donor kidney transplantation national network. The Manager will also partner cross-functionally to enhance system capabilities, improve processes, and ensure uninterrupted support for life-saving transplant operations. Responsibilities- Lead and scale NKR Universal GPS operations for live donor kidney transport, overseeing logistics, coordination, and issue resolution while expanding nationwide tracking capabilities.
- Serve as senior liaison to OPO partners, leading onboarding, training, and relationship management to drive adoption and consistent use of NKR Universal GPS technology.
- Lead the national NKR Strong Box inventory program, managing distribution, compliance, forecasting, and performance to ensure consistent availability across all 100+ NKR Member Center locations.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve inventory management processes for both GPS devices and Strong Box systems.
- Drive system improvements and cross-functional initiatives, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to enhance GPS and inventory systems while leading standardization, automation, and scalability efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
Experience5+ years of experience in inventory management and at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
Skills- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

- The candidate will work no less than four days in the Greenwich office, with one optional work-from-home day per week
- The candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Deceased Donor Transplant Solutions Universal GPS/Strong Box
