Job OverviewWe are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will ensure the company executes its strategy efficiently, drives operational scalability, and maintains a high‑performance culture across all departments.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership & Management – Oversee daily operations across critical departments (Operations, HR, IT, etc.) and implement standardized procedures to maximize efficiency.
- Process Optimization – Design, implement, and continuously monitor workflows using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Risk Management – Identify, evaluate, and mitigate key operational risks to ensure compliance and business continuity.
- Strategic Planning & Execution – Translate the CEO’s long‑term vision into actionable operational plans, set departmental targets, and track key performance indicators.
- Performance Monitoring – Report insights to the CEO and recommend corrective actions based on KPI analysis.
- Growth & Scalability – Lead initiatives that build infrastructure, technology, and organizational structure to support sustainable growth.
- Financial & Resource Stewardship – Work with the CFO to oversee the operating budget, control expenses, and identify cost‑efficiency opportunities.
- Resource Allocation – Allocate personnel, technology, and capital to support strategic projects and operations.
- Talent & Culture Development – Mentor senior leaders, foster accountability, and champion the company’s core values to enhance engagement and retention.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Executive Skills
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
- Proven track record scaling operations and managing cross‑departmental functions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor senior management and lead large teams.
- Expert knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strategic planning framework proficiency.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (Executive Leadership, Strategic Management, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are highly beneficial.
- Strategic Impact – direct influence on core business strategy alongside the CEO and Board.
