Tiqmo seeks a meticulous and knowledgeable self-supervisory unit officer to join our compliance department. The Self Supervisory Unit Officer will ensure tiqmo’s adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This position demands a deep understanding of fintech compliance, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining a robust self-supervisory framework.
Primary Duties andKey Responsibilities:
Compliance Oversight:
- Assist in the management of the self-supervisory unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor changes in regulations and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the self-supervisory framework, including risk assessment, monitoring, and reporting processes.
- Conduct regular self‑assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of compliance activities, assessments, and reports.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities and senior management as required.
- Act as a resource for compliance‑related inquiries from employees.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders to facilitate compliance‑related communications and audits.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CCO, CAMS, CFE) in compliance or a related area is a plus.
- Proven experience in compliance roles within the fintech industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey compliance requirements to diverse stakeholders.
