Work Location This position will be based in Saskatoon. The associated work schedule will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working (flexible, shared workstations and a combination of office and work from home) is standard for BHP. BHP offers domestic relocation assistance, including new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodations, home finding trip, and a resettlement allowance.
Responsibilities Stakeholder Management Identify and strategically manage key stakeholders to build and sustain effective relationships.
Deeply understand stakeholder needs, goals, and challenges through active engagement.
Proactively manage expectations and influence decision‑making to support successful outcomes.
Collaborate with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to drive alignment and deliver results.
Project & Portfolio Performance Management Deliver project commitments by managing scope, quality, cost, and schedule outcomes.
Oversee resource allocation and integrated project plans to ensure efficient execution.
Establish and govern performance controls, monitor deviations, and drive corrective actions.
Promote safety performance and continuous improvement across project delivery.
Provide forecasting insights to identify opportunities, manage risks, and improve cost predictability.
Project Planning & Scheduling Define project objectives and translate business drivers into integrated plans.
Identify critical activities, dependencies, and implementation pathways across complex portfolios.
Monitor and mitigate risks through proactive planning and data‑driven insights.
Continuously improve planning practices, leveraging data analytics and industry methodologies.
Operational Readiness Develop and implement operational readiness strategies, plans, and deliverables.
Ensure systems, processes, and controls meet governance, compliance, and industry standards.
Define and manage handover requirements to enable seamless transition to operations.
Integrate safety, risk, and change management into readiness frameworks to enhance outcomes.
Qualifications Advanced project planning, scheduling, and cost engineering expertise.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Ability to manage complexity across large‑scale projects.
Data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement mindset.
Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and industry standards.
