What's the role?
MBE CPAs is seeking a Resource Manager to lead workflow planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across our Tax and Client Accounting Services (CAS) teams. This highly strategic role focuses on improving efficiency, balancing workloads, and supporting strong client service outcomes.
LocationThis role may be based in any of our 19 MBE office locations
, filled as a hybrid opportunity, or a remote position
, depending on experience.
- Manage and optimize workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation across teams
- Balance workloads and ensure efficient use of staff at all levels
- Partner with department leaders to anticipate staffing needs and solve capacity challenges
- Monitor utilization and provide actionable reporting and insights
- Identify process improvements and reduce bottlenecks across operations
- Support forecasting, planning, and use of external staffing resources as needed
- Collaborate with recruiting and leadership on hiring and development needs
- 4-5 years work experience in logistics, resource management or related field; CPA firm experience highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement systems and comprehensive solutions to resource management challenges
- Exceptional communication, influencing and analytical skills; thrives on collaboration
- Applies practical cause-and-effect and systems thinking
- Strong business acumen; ability to learn quickly about company business and related strategic growth and profit drivers
- Familiarity with forecasting processes and tools
- Service oriented with the strength to make difficult decisions and challenge norms
