Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Contract Manager for The Netherlands
, to support our sales and project execution within the Business Unit Grid Integration.

With analytical, hands-on, and autonomous approach, you contribute to the successful performance of Contract Management. You are a reliable partner in the preparation of contracts, contract administration and project execution. Do you enjoy working in teams and enhancing performance through your competence? This is a hybrid role, working in both our Rotterdam Offices as your home-office.

Your responsibilities:

You will support the sales team, lead the reviews and comments on commercial, technical tender terms and conditions and any necessary task during the tendering stage (e.g. risk reviews, qualification documents).

You will ensure the development of contract strategy based on our policies, customer requirements, and the overall execution strategy considering risk, pricing, scope, and schedule.

Provide general advice and pro-active support to project management, site management, supply department, and other project team members in the execution of Customer Contracts, Consortium Agreements, and Subcontracts/Supply contracts to secure contractual rights and entitlements.

You will support drafting of Subcontracts and Supply Contracts and ensure that they contain appropriate terms to protect our company interests including flow-down of main contract terms.

Perform overall identification of opportunities for incoming and outgoing claims, develop claim strategies, prepare notifications/correspondence and related documentation (amendments, change orders, etc.).

You will prepare and conduct risks and opportunities analysis/presentations, preparation of strategy papers, and definition of overall project claim strategies.

You will conduct contract and claims negotiations and settlements together with project management, and prepare project-related amendments, change orders, and other contract-related documents.

Your background:

Degree in law, or equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience with contract law.

Extensive experience in contract management with energy projects or similar industrial plants.

Proficiency in English and Dutch languages;
French is a plus.
